Marco Rubio Stumps for Senate Candidate Mandel

Republican State Treasurer Josh Mandel will take on Incumbent Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown this fall. Mandel easily won the G-O-P primary winning 62% percent of the total votes statewide.  On March 12, 2012, Florida Senator Marco Rubio campaigned in Ohio for the Senate hopeful. 

The following  audio contains addresses from Mandel and Rubio to a crowd of 300 in the Berry Room located  at Wright State University's Nutter Center.

Ohio Governor Creates Panel on Jobs for Disabled

Ohio Gov. John Kasich has signed an executive order creating a taskforce aimed at expanding job opportunities for the developmentally disabled.

The order creating the Employment First Policy and Taskforce notes that less than 6 percent of adult service funding is used to place and support those with developmental disabilities in the workforce. It also says people with such disabilities have some of the highest unemployment and poverty rates

Poor Will’s Almanack for the Final Week of Early Spring

White cabbage butterflies are the surest sign of the end of Early Spring. And once you notice the familiar white cabbage butterfly, then you know the more elusive mourning cloak butterflies and the question mark butterflies and the tortoise shell butterflies and the tiny blues are flying too.

 When you see cabbage butterflies, then you know that gold finches are turning gold, and you may soon see ants working on the sidewalk.
