Teen Pleads 'Not Guilty' in Ohio Craigslist Killings

An Ohio teen has pleaded not guilty to killing one man and attempting to kill a second in a deadly Craigslist robbery scheme that targeted older and single out-of-work men.

Brogan Rafferty, his ankles and wrists cuffed, made a brief appearance Friday in adult felony court in Akron on charges originally filed in Noble County, where the case unfolded.

Marcellus Gas Production and Recycling Rise

Production of Marcellus Shale natural gas in Pennsylvania rose again in the second half of 2011, slightly
exceeding projections.

The state reported Friday that drillers produced the equivalent of 1.66 billion cubic feet of gas per day from July to December.

That's up from about 1.19 billion cubic feet per day in the previous six months.

That translates into a yearly average of about 1.42 billion cubic feet per day. That's up slightly from previous industry projections of 1.3 billion for 2011.

DDN: Air Force Research in Ohio Studies Trustworthiness

The Air Force is trying to determine whether blood samples can be used to measure trust in a million-dollar
research project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in western Ohio.

Research psychologist James Christensen tells the Dayton Daily News the effort isn't aimed at building a "trust-o-meter." But he says finding a way to objectively measure trustworthiness could help in assigning workers to sensitive jobs or missions.

Ohio House Panel OKs Plan for 70 MPH Speed Limit
