Superheroes Land at the Dayton Art Institute

The Dayton Art Institute's superhero summer kicks off today with the opening of You Are My Superhero. This special exhibition explores the tradition of comic book superheros and how contemporary artists are putting their own spin on popular characters.

The exhibition is made up of original art and memorabilia on loan from local comic book shops, private collectors and the artists themselves. Dayton Art Institute associate director Jane Black says she's grateful for the positive and quick response she got when the museum started planning the exhibition.

PoliticsOhio: Early Voting Rules Spark Federal Lawsuit

Ohio Democrats and the Obama campaign have filed a lawsuit against the state to try and reinstate the three day early voting window before Election day. Jo Ingles with the Ohio Statehouse News Bureau reported on the story and spoke with officials in the Democratic party, and Secretary of State Jon Husted. She breaks down the situation for Emily McCord in the week's edition of PoliticsOhio.

Vice President Focuses On Manufacturing At Ohio Campaign Stop

About 600 backers of President Obama gathered at a union hall in downtown Columbus yesterday to hear Vice President Joe Biden explain Ohio is adding manufacturing jobs now because of President Obama’s bold decision to bail out the American auto industry. Biden said the President has bet on Ohio and America and says it’s paying off with gains in manufacturing jobs. But when comes to betting on America, Biden said it’s fair to question Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s record at his financial firm, Bain Capital.
