Two thousand years ago, the Roman naturalist, Pliny praised the cold northern winds as the "healthiest of all."
During the eighteenth century, physicians said the same thing. For example, William Currie wrote that "the winds which prevail during the greatest part of winter… though they are severe and piercing cold...give vigor to the constitution and a freshness and bloom to the complexion."
The governor is hinting strongly that a plan to lease the Ohio Turnpike is coming soon, possibly official by the end of the week.
Gov. John Kasich has been talking about his turnpike plans for months, but not releasing many hints, other than to say that he considers the toll road an undervalued asset. But he told a group of county commissioners and county engineers to think about the turnpike this way:

Dan performed three songs on the new album while in the WYSO studios including: "Dream With Me," "Sunshine in the Rain Be My Love," and "Hold You Tight." Dan played every single instrument on the new album.
