Discovery and Renewal on Huffman Prairie: Where Aviation Took Wing. Join the National Park Service for a program on Huffman Prairie's story from the time when continental glaciers covered much of what is now Ohio to the present, and learn about the plants and animals that call it home. In 1984, Dave Nolin found that piece of the Huffman Prairie still existed and through efforts by private, local, state, and federal agencies, a 114-acre fragment of the prairie was reestablished. This program is free and open to the public. For more information, please call 937-225-7705.
