WYSO has partnered with the Dayton International Peace Museum to create a community-building event on this, the 15th anniversary of 9/11. On this day we will honor those who lost their lives but also celebrate the work of “Peace Heroes” in our community.

What is a Peace Hero? An everyday person who accepts risk and succeeds in making the world a less violent and more just place.

For our Community Concert at 3pm WYSO has chosen artists who are Peace Heroes -- they promote peace through their music -- Rani Arbo & Daisy Mayhem and the fabulous Central State University Gospel Choir.

Prior to the concert the Dayton International Peace Museum is hosting a “Peace Heroes” Walk at Riverscape at 2pm, and all participants are invited to stick around for WYSO’s Community Concert.
