91.3 WYSO Public Radio in Yellow Springs, Ohio seeks an experienced and energetic leader who has a commitment to covering local news and telling the stories of the community on multiple platforms. The news director is responsible for the overall management and editing of WYSO’s dynamic and award winning news team, while also serving as the host for Morning Edition Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record as a reporter, writer and supervisor with experience as an on-air host in a live broadcast environment.
The StoryCorps mobile booth has returned to the Miami Valley to collect stories from individuals across our region. The booth is at Dayton's Wright-Dunbar neighborhood, parked at the corner of W. Third and S. Williams Streets, at the Dayton Aviation Heritage Visitors Center.
